CIE AWARD CEREMONY 2017

The CIE Award Ceremony 2017 was held at Bahria Auditorium on the 11th November, and became the biggest event of the year. The planning for the event began a month in advance and the execution team consisted of over 100 volunteers, numerous hosts, and staff of both O and A level campuses. The program catered to over 500 audience, which included both parents and awardee students. The awards categories were as follows: Shields: The shields were awarded to all students who managed to secure an A in at least one subject. About a hundred and fifty students were awarded under this category. Medals: This honor is presented to the graduating batch, and hence only the O3 and A2 are eligible for this award. The gold medal is the highest honor in medals, followed by silver, then bronze, and forty nine students were awarded these. Laptop: Doing what no other college does, WHALES College awards a laptop to all the students at the top of their class in academics. Straight ‘A’ students are called on stage with their parents and provided with a laptop and its carrying bag. This year we took pride in awarding fifty laptops.
